The border between Mexico and the United States usually conjures up images of walls, political debates, and patrol squadrons – not a recreation destination. But, as it turns out, this area of southern Arizona is a gravel grinder's paradise!
Heidi Rentz and Zander Ault, owners of the Cyclist’s Menu, have mapped epic and stunningly beautiful routes through this area. They are now introducing them to others through week-long cycling camps.
Like all of the camps coordinated by the Cyclist’s Menu, this one pairs culinary joy with outdoor adventure. It uses food sourced from the region to create mouth-watering menus designed for hungry cyclists with local flair.
Heidi and Zander describe their approach this way: "The table" is where we gather morning, afternoon and night. It's where the day's stories unfold, tomorrow's unknowns are unveiled and the story of each meal is told. "The table" is where we invite our guests into our family. It's the legacy of our experience.
Action Wipes are a welcome necessity at the Arizona Gravel Camp, which will be offered weekly throughout February, March and April of next year. To get a preview of what’s in store for camp participants, check out this newly released video!

While putting together this experience, Heidi and Zander used Action Wipes extensively. Here’s what Heidi has to say about them:
I'm a girl who spends the majority of my time living out of our van, working hard and playing hard, riding my bike deep into the woods, running up mountains, and cooking food. I have no problem admitting that sometimes I only catch a shower 1-2 times a week, and there's nothing more refreshing than a single Action Wipe and a cold beer after a 5-hour mountain bike ride. In my opinion, that's pretty much all you need in this life!!!
Well said, Heidi! Glad you love using Action Wipes just as much as we love making them!
